I took a photo of this little girl sleeping in a chair at a bank. Such a peaceful,
serene scene! I have painted an oil painting of this photo that I find quite Matisse-like. The photo is for sale priced according to size.
About Kathryn Barry
Kathryn Barry, PhD, has had an avid interest in the arts since childhood. As a young adult, she studied art history at the Sorbonne; the course included after-hour seminars in The Louvre galleries. She went on to become a high school teacher of math and biology for special-ed teens. On the side, Kathryn restored and renovated/landscaped old homes of architectural interest in the Blue Ridge Mtns of VA, Catalan Spain, NY, NH, VT and FL. Kathryn has traveled widely in the US, Central and South America, Europe, SE Asia, NZ and Australia. She is an avid gardener and out-doors sports-woman. Kathryn served as on the board of the Delray Art League. She is currently on the board of Plein Air Palm Beach serving as the treasurer.
