This photo was taken from the west side of Belleayre ski area in late fall, 2011. There were signs of all sorts of animals along the trail like bear scat, deer hoof prints and turkey feathers. That Belleayre Mtn is a four season wonderland.
About Kathryn Barry
Kathryn Barry, PhD, has had an avid interest in the arts since childhood. As a young adult, she studied art history at the Sorbonne; the course included after-hour seminars in The Louvre galleries. She went on to become a high school teacher of math and biology for special-ed teens. On the side, Kathryn restored and renovated/landscaped old homes of architectural interest in the Blue Ridge Mtns of VA, Catalan Spain, NY, NH, VT and FL. Kathryn has traveled widely in the US, Central and South America, Europe, SE Asia, NZ and Australia. She is an avid gardener and out-doors sports-woman. Kathryn served as on the board of the Delray Art League. She is currently on the board of Plein Air Palm Beach serving as the treasurer.
